Fatty larva and poor in calcium. *Attention! May be difficult for some geckos to digest

moderation.
Also known as Morio worms and “superworms,” they look like mealworms, but they are giant. Their nutritional value is poor, hence the importance of sprinkling them with multivitamins and calcium. Not noisy, economical, they have no unpleasant odor and require a little more space for their accommodation than mealworms. Keep giant mealworms in a dry substrate such as oatmeal, chicken feed, cornmeal or a regular cereal.
Offer them slices of carrot and newspaper in several thicknesses that you moisten occasionally, which could serve as hiding places and a water bowl. They can also be kept in the refrigerator for a long time.
