The tube is suitable for snakes, amphibians (frogs, toads and salamanders) and nocturnal animals. Plants will also thrive in this light. It is also the ideal complement to a UVB bulb to increase visible light. T10, 120 cm (48 in), 40 W.
Repti Glo Linear Fluorescent Tubes have a very high efficiency and distribute energy more efficiently than average, over large terrariums. In order to make the bulbs suitable for any size of terrarium, Exo Terra has designed a complete range of seven sizes for each type of bulb (Repti Glo 2.0, Repti Glo 5.0 and Repti Glo 10.0).
The long tubes can even be placed on several terrariums. Exo Terra has also developed a complete line of terrarium top lighting and linear fluorescent lighting controllers that are suitable for our line of linear fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent bulbs.
Most of these fluorescent lighting fixtures come with numerous fittings allowing a combination of different Repti Glo tubes and bulbs to simulate any microhabitat of a particular species.
