Tillandsia Brach × Abdita is an air plant hybrid prized for its dense rosette and arching leaves. Its silvery-green foliage can take on a red or pinkish hue as it approaches flowering, a common phenomenon in many tillandsias.
Like all tillandsias, this plant is epiphytic, meaning it naturally grows on trees or rocks rather than in soil. It absorbs water and nutrients directly through its leaves via tiny scales called trichomes.
This plant generally remains compact, reaching about 10 to 20 cm in diameter, making it ideal for open terrariums, decorative supports, or hanging arrangements.
About once a week, soak it in room-temperature water for about fifteen minutes, or hang it from the showerhead. After rehydrating your plant, you can return it to its place.
Non-toxic to animals.
