Product description:
Orange springtails (Yuukianura aphoruroides) are true gems for any bioactive terrarium. Known for their vivid tangerine coloring and plump bodies with a unique texture, they add spectacular visual appeal to the microfauna in your ecosystem. Slightly slower and calmer than traditional species, these springtails are still excellent cleaners, particularly well suited to very humid, tropical environments. Their bright color and substantial size make them an irresistible prey choice for visually hunting predators.
Format:
Live orange springtails — Yuukianura aphoruroides
Contains 35+ individuals
Highlights:
Spectacular bright orange coloring — creates striking contrast against the substrate and leaves
Effective cleaner — consumes mold, fungi, and decomposing organic matter
Larger, plumper body — ideal for diversifying prey size and type
Excellent high-visibility prey for dart frogs and visual hunters
Ideal for tropical terrariums, vivariums, and high-humidity setups
