Hemigraphis exotica ‘Colorata’, also known as the Purple Metal Plant, is a tropical ornamental plant prized for its vibrant, metallic-looking foliage. The leaves are oval to slightly wavy, with a deep purple underside and a silvery-green upper surface with a metallic sheen. This combination creates a shimmering effect that changes with the light. Indoors, it typically reaches 20 to 30 cm in height and can spread 30 to 40 cm wide, forming a dense carpet of colorful foliage.
