Product description:
The Armadillidium maculatum “Yellow Zebra” are woodlice highly appreciated in bioactive terrariums, both for their unique zebra-like appearance and their usefulness. They help with terrarium cleaning by consuming organic debris (dead leaves, decaying wood, food leftovers) and contribute to keeping the substrate cleaner and more stable.
They thrive well in a well-established terrarium with a good leaf litter and a humidity gradient (wet zone + drier zone).

Humidity: medium (a wet zone is necessary, but a drier zone is essential).
Tip: maintain a gradient (a wet zone + a drier zone).
Temperature: around 18–26°C (tolerant; breeding is more stable under constant conditions).

Food:
continuous leaf litter (base)
supplements: vegetable pieces, La Swamp woodlouse food, etc. (in small amounts)
Calcium: always have a source available (cuttlefish bone, calcium, well-dried eggshells, etc.)
Warning: avoid soggy substrate and overfeeding (mold/mite issues). Regularly add dry leaves and some decaying wood to maintain a good food base.
