Product Description:
Cubaris “Red Panda” isopods are exceptionally beautiful and highly sought after in the bioactive terrarium hobby for their unique coloration pattern reminiscent of the famous red panda. Sporting a stunning reddish-orange hue contrasted with black or dark bands, they add a refined visual touch to display enclosures. In addition to their striking appearance, they actively participate in terrarium cleaning by consuming organic debris (dead leaves, decaying wood, uneaten food) and contribute to a cleaner and more stable substrate.

They primarily inhabit hiding places, cork bark, and dense leaf litter. They thrive in tropical or semi-tropical terrariums that maintain good humidity while also providing a drier zone for optimal moisture levels.

Quantity: 10+

Highlights:
Stunning appearance: Superb reddish/orange and black coloration, highly prized by isopod collectors

Excellent "cleanup crew": Efficiently consumes plant debris and decaying matter

Compact and elegant size: Ideal for enhancing the visual appeal of display terrariums

Highly suited to tropical tanks: Thrives in warm and humid environments

Typical behavior: May roll completely into a ball when disturbed ("rolly polly" behavior)

Tips & Parameters:
Humidity: Medium to high (a humid zone is essential, covering about half the tank with sphagnum moss, but a drier zone is also important). Tip: Maintain a clear gradient to allow them to regulate their hydration.

Temperature: Approximately 22–27°C (a stable, warm temperature promotes colony health and regular reproduction).

Food:
Free access to leaf litter and decomposed white wood (basic)
