Hoya australis boasts magnificent, leathery, glossy foliage. The oval leaves are initially dark, becoming light as they mature. They grow all along the vine. A very vigorous plant, it loves to climb! Its flowers are unique and fragrant. However, it rarely flowers before it is two years old. To encourage flowering, it is recommended to place it in a bright room and reduce the frequency of repotting. It likes to be pot-bound.
