This delicate epiphytic plant has very soft, pubescent rhizomes, hence its common name, rabbit's foot. When hung, the cascading habit of its rhizomes is highlighted, making this fern truly unique! This plant is ideal for impatient gardeners who love ferns, as it grows quickly and is forgiving of missed waterings. If the fronds turn yellow and dry out, this can be caused by a lack of water, too much light, or drafts.

Non-toxic to animals.

Family: Davalliaceae.
Origin: Tropical Asia and Fiji.
Watering: It prefers to be soaked.
Allow the surface of the soil to dry out between waterings.
Humidity: High.
Mist the foliage and rhizomes, especially in winter when heating tends to dry out the air.
Soil type: Light and rich. In their natural habitat, epiphytic plants cling to various surfaces, such as wood or rock. This fern prefers less frequent repotting to avoid disturbing its roots.
Light: Moderate.
Orientation: North, East, West.
Growth: Fast.
Temperature: Warm, avoid drafts.
