Product description:
Porcellionides pruinosus “Orange Powder” are woodlice highly valued in bioactive terrariums for their efficiency and rapid establishment. They help break down organic waste (food scraps, dead leaves, small molds) and contribute to keeping the substrate cleaner and more stable.
This active and generally very prolific species is ideal for quickly establishing a functional microfauna in a bioactive terrarium, with a good leaf litter and a moisture gradient.

Care & Parameters:
Humidity: moderate (they like a moist area but need a drier zone as well).
Tip: maintain a gradient (a moist zone + a drier zone).
Temperature: around 20–27°C (faster reproduction in warm, stable conditions).

continuous leaf litter (base)
supplements: vegetable pieces, La Swamp woodlouse food, etc. (in small amounts)
Calcium: always provide a source (cuttlefish bone, calcium, well-dried eggshells, etc.)
Warning: very fast-growing species: avoid overfeeding (mold/mites).
