Product description:
The Armadillidium maculatum “Zebra” are very popular woodlice in bioactive terrariums, both for their iconic zebra look and their usefulness. They help with terrarium cleaning by consuming organic debris (dead leaves, decaying wood, leftover food) and contribute to keeping the substrate cleaner and more stable.
They thrive well in a well-established terrarium with a good leaf litter and a humidity gradient (wet zone + drier zone).

Tip: maintain a gradient (a wet zone + a drier zone).
Temperature: around 18–26°C (tolerant; more stable breeding under constant conditions).

Food:
continuous leaf litter (base)
supplements: vegetable pieces, La Swamp woodlouse food, etc. (in small amounts)
Calcium: always have a source available (cuttlefish bone, calcium, well-dried eggshells, etc.)
Warning: avoid soggy substrate and overfeeding (mold/mite issues). Regularly add dry leaves and some decaying wood to maintain a good food base.
