Also called the rubber plant for its thick, glossy foliage. This new variety of the Ficus elastica family is very popular for its variegated leaves in white, yellow, and pink. Due to the size of the leaves, it's important to clean them regularly to prevent dust buildup. The new leaves are wrapped in a red sheath, and the pale, light color brightens even the most ordinary rooms. Like all fig trees, it doesn't like to be moved! From the same family, the elastica variety is one of the easiest to care for.
