This is a magnificent epiphytic plant that requires no soil! This variety is small and very delicate, with silvery-gray, very narrow, thread-like, and slightly curved leaves. The foliage forms an airy, soft-to-the-touch, almost feathery, ball-shaped rosette. Like most tilandsias, it will produce pretty little purple flowers. About once a week, soak it in room-temperature water for about ten minutes, or hang it from the showerhead. After soaking, you can return it to its place.
