This peperomia is highly prized as an ornamental plant. Its compact habit and small, textured leaves complement any décor. The Rosso variety is very similar to the Napoli Night. The difference lies in its growth habit and color. The Rosso variety is slightly taller, and the undersides of its leaves are mauve. Furthermore, the colored varieties tolerate sun better than the all-green variety. It dislikes overwatering and prefers to be snug in its pot.
