A small, compact houseplant. Fittonia is highly prized for the texture and color of its foliage. Indeed, the color of its leaves contrasts with its veins. The 'White Anne' variety has elongated leaves and varies in color depending on their maturity. The leaves may appear completely white and gradually take on a green hue. To maintain its compact and plump shape, pinching back the tips of the stems is recommended. In its natural habitat, it grows in the shade of trees in tropical forests.
