Product Description:
The Cubaris “Rubber Ducky” are highly sought-after isopods in bioactive terrariums, known for their unique appearance and “collector” appeal. Besides being fascinating to observe, they help with terrarium cleaning by consuming organic debris (dead leaves, decaying wood, leftover food) and contribute to keeping the substrate cleaner and more stable.
They mainly stay under hides and in the leaf litter, and perform best in a well-established terrarium with good humidity, while maintaining a drier area for the gradient.

continuous leaf litter (base diet)
supplements: vegetable pieces, La Swamp isopod food, etc. (in small amounts)
Calcium: always have a source available (cuttlefish bone, calcium, well-dried eggshells, etc.)
Warning: a more “sensitive” species: avoid sudden changes, overly wet substrate, and overfeeding. Good ventilation + feeding in small amounts helps limit mold and mites.
